Freightview has been an iterative project spanning over 3 years. It is a very complex and evolving application used by thousands of people each day for transportation management.
There have been a few challenges when designing for Freightview. One, the process of transportation management is complex, requiring loads of industry knowledge and research. Two, the brand and experience has to cater to numerous demographics.
The print and web design has a fun twist but still feels business and productive. There are loads of time saving UI features and I’ve given it lots of thought for usability, including usability tests and experimentation.
